Graceful Impact

A short excerpt from my real-time 3D animation project that explores randomness in space.

The idea stems from me trying have my computer improvise music like I do on my guitar and have gravity be the driving force.

All objects (drums, meteors) are generated randomly at runtime, resulting in a musical experience that's different each time you hit play. Here are two versions of the same project running side by side. Both can run endlessly. This is an open concept as you could have an entire orchestra of falling heads bouncing around.

Designed and created by me in Unity using the HDRP render pipeline. My descending head was captured using photogrammetry.
Ideally this program would play on multiple screens with more versions of my head colliding with other objects. The meteor and drum 3D models are third-party - slightly modified by me.
